Grace Church Welcomes Deacon Chip Strickland to Our Clergy Team on Sunday June 15th.  On Saturday May 31st, Chip was ordained at The Cathedral of All Saints as a transitional deacon. Bishop Bill has appointed him to serve at Grace Church for his first assignment in ordained ministry. On January 6, 2008 Deacon Chip became Father Chip after he was ordained into the Priesthood at Grace Church!!!

Fr. William “Chip” Strickland is a native of Oxford, Mississippi.  He is a recent graduate of the Nashotah House Theological Seminary.  Fr. Chip makes his living as an attorney with the firm of King, Adang & Arpey in Malta.  His wife, Elizabeth, is the Clergy Deployment Officer for the Episcopal Diocese of Albany.  They live in Clifton Park.  Fr. Chip has two daughters from his previous marriage, Emily, 21, and Hannah, 19.  Both are college students.  Fr. Chip is the Chancellor (legal advisor) to Bishop William Love of the Episcopal Diocese of Albany.  

Fr. Chip and Beth enjoy vacations in Maine and visiting family in Pennsylvania and Mississippi.
